After purchasing the facility in 2009 refurbishment for its redevelopment into a modern, multi-purpose conference centre commenced. This included the entire re-roofing of the property, construction of internal walls, external windows, air-conditioned rooms, deluxe WCs, and quality flooring, lighting and interior decoration, high spec PA sound system – the BIG SHED has emerged as a versatile meeting and conference venue, with free on-site car parking for delegates.

Situated on the southern edge of Leicester City centre, The Big Shed is easily accessible via the M69/M1 (jct21) motorway network. We are in close proximity to the main railway station and serviced by many bus routes.
