Chetham's is a unique and atmospheric location, ideal for events from seminars and meetings to private dinners and concerts. Conveniently situated in the centre of Manchester, and close to major transport links, Chetham’s is a great location for business functions and events.

Dating back to 1421, Chetham's was built as a college for the priests of St Mary's Parish Church (now Manchester Cathedral). It is the most complete late-medieval residential complex to survive in the north west of England.

Our Baronial Hall is one of the best preserved examples of a 15th century medieval hall. It is a fantastic location if you are looking for an unusual venue to entertain guests for a conference, networking event or formal 3-course dinner.

The other rooms in the medieval building are equally impressive for smaller events and intimate private dining.
