Oakmere Conference Centre provides Merseyside and the North West with a purpose built, state-of-the-art business and banqueting venue. With facilities that include the latest multimedia technology, full disabled access, and secure car parking, the Centre provides the perfect working environment for conferences and meetings
The Conference Centre is installed with the very latest state of the art audio visual and I.T. equipment. If you are unfamiliar with any aspect of our equipment we are happy to provide assistance and support throughout the day.
Any profits made at Oakmere Conference Centre are re-invested into Oakmere Community College. The College provides learning and progression opportunities for the vulnerable and disadvantaged young people of Liverpool. As well as providing vocational and basic skills learning activities we work with a number of partners such as Young Persons Advisory Service to ensure that the correct levels of support and intervention are provided

Directions from the City Centre – Proceed along Scotland Road past the Kingsway Tunnel exit, through a set of pedestrian traffic lights. As you approach the next set of lights you need to be in the middle or the right hand lane as the road here curves to the right, follow the sign to Walton Centre. You will then come to a large crossroads with traffic lights, go straight on. At the next set of lights you need to take the right hand fork which is sign posted St Helens (A580). Keep going along this road you will see Everton Football Ground on your left hand side and further along you will find the Police Station on the right, proceed under the railway bridge and take the next available right hand turn into Cherry Lane. Turn immediately right through the green double gates the Conference Centre is the second on the right.
Direction from the M62 – Get off the M62 at junction 6 and get onto the M57. Proceed along the M57 for just under 5 miles and get off at junction 4. Take the East Lancashire Road (A580) towards Liverpool City Centre. After approx 3 miles towards Liverpool you will reach Queens Drive, a major light controlled junction. Get into one of the left hand lanes and go straight on through the traffic lights remaining on Walton Hall Ave. Then take the second road on the left into Cherry Lane and take your first right through the green double gates. The Conference Centre in second on the right.
From Norris Green – Proceed along Queens Drive until you reach the major light controlled junction were Queens Drive meets Walton Hall Avenue. Turn Left at the lights onto Walton Hall Avenue (A580 sign posted The City Centre) Then take the second road on the left into Cherry Lane and take your first right through the green double gates. The Conference Centre in second on the right.
From Bootle – Proceed along Breeze Hill over the Rice Lane Flyover and onto Queens Drive. At the traffic lights turn right on to Walton Hall Avenue (A580 sign posted the City Centre). Then take the second road on the left into Cherry Lane and take your first right through the green double gates. The Conference Centre in second on the right.
