The Queens Head Hotel is situated in Milton Ernest, a village rich in local lore. Before the First World War, a staggering 30 trades and crafts were represented in the village, including a higgler (a breaker of rough stones). Glenn Miller was a known famous visitor. Relaxing and comfortable are two words that immediately come to mind in association with this 17th century informal country inn.
The inn also has a private meeting room for up to 8 people.
The Queens Head 12 bedrooms are well equipped for modern requirements and there are 4 ground floor rooms including a disabled twin room.
The Queens Head serves the finest of English and Continental country fayre in a restaurant of character, whilst the kitchens are fitted with the most modern equipment in pursuit of excellence by our Chef and his team. The restaurant has an imaginative menu and the chef takes great pride in providing a daily range of 'specials'.
