overview
The Fishbourne Centre was substantially redeveloped in 2010, made possible by generous support from The Big Lottery Fund, West Sussex County Council, Chichester District Council, local organisations and the residents of Fishbourne. The Centre is not a club - it is open to all - there is no membership requirement and access is not limited to Fishbourne residents.
It is owned by registered charity no. 305369 (Fishbourne Playing Field Association) and is run by Fishbourne Centre Trading Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary. There is a Centre Committee and also a Users' Group which provides feedback to help ensure that the Centre is offering a balanced programme that meets the needs of the whole of Fishbourne and the surrounding area. The Centre looks out onto 17 acres of Playing Field including cricket and football pitches, tennis courts, a croquet lawn, a bowling green, a multi-sport court and a secure children's play area. A variety of rooms are available ideal for 10 to 200 guests
