The neo-Gothic Whitworth Building is an elegant, Grade II listed venue which offers the stunning Whitworth Hall, available for meetings for up to 675 or banquets for up to 300, plus the imposing Council Chamber and six boardrooms seating 12 to 24 delegates. The adjacent Christies Bistro, has a sophisticated and calm atmosphere providing a welcome escape from the business of the day, and can be used for drinks receptions and private dinners.

Equally stunning but a complete contrast to the Whitworth Building is the iconic University Place, which is the largest conference venue at the University, with 2 lecture theatres for 600 and 280 which can be converted to seat 1000, in addition there is a 450 seat restaurant, 500 square metres exhibition space, marquee area and 25 syndicate rooms, ideal for national and international conferences.

We also have numerous other campus buildings for smaller events plus the Manchester Museum and Whitworth Art Gallery for receptions and dinners.
