Zizzi has collaborated with local artists; illustrator Rosie Shorter and Photographer Moose Azim, to reflect their visual interpretation of this diverse town and its particular character. Downstairs the themes of the beach and outdoors influence the colour palette with lamps resembling clouds and clever use of pebbles which feature strongly throughout the restaurant. Upstairs the photo montage helps to transform the dining area into a sophisticated yet edgy space. The black, white and raspberry theme of the Tom Dixon mirror ball pendants are framed by carnival lights around the edge of the ceiling. The strong design theme here is diversity, with a medley of colours and textures; they have really managed to bring the seaside into the restaurant by covering the feature oven in pebbles.
