With complimentary on site car parking and complimentary Wifi connection throughtout the hotel for guests, this 16th Century farmhouse was originally a gift from Oliver Cromwell to his secretary Thomas Thurloe, although the building has retained many features from former times, expansion and redevelopment has greatly improved the hotel providing modern comforts in a traditional way. The hotel can cater for upto 200 people, an ideal venue for banqueting, Christmas and weddings the hotel holds a civil ceremony licence, including an outdoor licence for ceremonies in our gazebo in our landscaped garden. The new restaurant, Rump and Wade offers beautifully homemade meals from locally sourced ingredients and is open for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner.
