Top Tips for Travelling the World

“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So, throw off the  bowlines and  sail away from the safe harbour…” Mark (Twain)

Many people dream of travelling the World – but often when they’re retired.  So, when meetingsclub’s Mark Bailey, a 50 something year old decided along with his wife Sarah to resign from their jobs, up sticks and travel the world back packing, there were a few raised eyebrows!

Mark had heard a radio interview describing life in terms of the seven days of the week and knew he had to act.  If life really was three score years and ten and every day ten years, then he realised he was on Friday night with only a weekend ahead and if lucky, a Bank Holiday!

Covering 57,000 miles, 19 different countries and 39 flights, Mark and Sarah never lost their rucksacks once and were able to write a blog about their adventures even in deepest China.
