STORY TO TELL

WHO –       Elite Athlete Centre and Hotel – Loughborough

WHAT –     544 delegates.  Academic, corporate, charity events

WHY –       Nutritionaccessiblechill Seminar, team building, meeting

A claimed European first!  And the numbers are impressive.  Twenty specially designed altitude rooms, eight dedicated accessible bedrooms, a nutrition lounge, café and athletes’ relaxation area and seminar space for 30.  And if after a hard day in the meeting room it’s all been a bit too much, delegates can chill out in the Quiet and Passive Zones or take part in activities such as Yoga and Pilates.

The £7m, 44 bedroomed 4-star Elite Athlete Centre and Hotel is being opened at Loughborough University.  But the good news for non-athletes is that it is available for mere mortals looking for an inspiring high-performance environment with aspirational event space. Imago the venue managers have also recognised that sleep is important for meeting delegates as well as high performing athletes.  They’ve enlisted the services of sleep expert Luke Gupta and event organisers can now get Top Tips for a good night’s sleep!
