This is a charming hotel on the outskirts of Glasgow, with good facilities and conveniently located for many Glasgow-based opportunities.
The team were really helpful - we were a relatively small conference at under 50 delegates, and the room / facilities for our conference were suitably modest for that number, but it was a very positive experience. The hotel rooms were fine, although it was very difficult to control the ambient temperature in my room (I think we were above the swimming pool / leisure facility, where the air handling makes for very warm circulating air in the immediate vicinity).
There were two large events taking place at the hotel on the Friday and Saturday nights we were there (a themed party night, and a dance competition awards ceremony). The hotel did advise us of this in advance, which was helpful - however there were a couple of resulting issues. Firstly, the hotel was busy, and if we needed to raise a query with management, it was difficult to get their attention as Reception was always busy with guests checking in or out, and there wasn't always a Duty Manager available to help (we had to ask via Reception). Secondly there was some overlap of noise that did affect our conference at times (during set up in the adjacent suite for those events, for example) which made things tricky on occasion. I would say, that due to the size of the hotel facilities, it would be difficult for multiple events to take place at the same time without some element of overlap / sound disruption, but overall we had a really good experience with the venue.

Do you have any good advice/tips for other bookers/organiser?

Check for other events taking place at the hotel at the same time as your planned event would be my top tip. Overall very charming hotel and worth a visit.
