Grasmere House Hotel has 35 bedrooms, all ensuite with TV. telephone, trouser press and ironing board, and hospitality tray. Two rooms are discretely arranged for disabled guests.

The main suite, The Sarisberie, is a conservatory styled room adjacent to the restaurant and the Nadder Suite. All three rooms can be used together for large private lunches, dinners, dinner dances and receptions. Additionally The Sarisberie has a large patio area for delegates' breaks, and barbeques and buffet lunches during fine weather.

Meetings for up to 115 delegates are accommodated in the main suite and the smaller River Rooms are available for syndicate work or smaller meetings, receptions and private dining. All meeting rooms have natural daylight and are on the ground floor level.

With its extensive gardens, river views and with the Cathedral backdrop, it is known locally as "The Wedding Hotel".
