A comfortable modern hotel, in a central location of Derby City Centre, the Pennine is an ideal venue for a conference or meeting. On the fringe of the Peak District, attractions which can be combined to enhance any conference include Chatsworth House, Hardwick Hall and medieval Haddon Hall. Also there is a wide choice of bars, restaurants and nightclubs in the City Centre itself. The Derwent Suite which will hold 400 theatre style, makes an excellent exhibition venue and combined with the restaurant has a capacity of450 for banquets. There are also smaller suites available providing more intimate surroundings. The Pennine has 100 bedrooms all with en suite bathroom, hospitality tray, colour television, in-house movies, telephone, hairdryer and trouser press. The Edale Restaurant offers a superb range of dishes with a lunchtime carvery. A 32 lane Bowling Centre is close to the hotel, with other sports facilities and a swimming pool nearby. Within a few minutes drive there are two 10 screen cinemas.
