Fully refurbished in 2009, when the Library itself closed for a major refurbishment, Luton Library Theatre has comfortable tiered seating and an intimate feel. With full theatre style lighting and sound capabilities plus wide screen film or digital projection available, all operated by our superb professional in house technical team. The venue is situated very close to the Luton Central Library conference rooms, which are perfect for use as breakout spaces. This fully accessible space is available for hire for conferences, performances and film showings at very reasonable rates. It also has a full bottle bar available on request and is located next to the café, who can supply light refreshments, drinks and buffets as required. Luton Library Theatre is within 5 minutes walking distance of Luton’s main shopping centre, The Mall, and its 1620 capacity car parking. It is only 10 minutes walk from Luton’s main train station with its links to London, Bedford and beyond.
