overview
Dating back nearly 2000 years, the Roman Baths offer a unique setting for a memorable event. At night, with its steaming waters and flickering torches, the Baths is a stunning venue for a drinks reception which is sure to wow your guests.
There are various rooms available for a dinner from 20 - 200 guests. Following drinks beside the Great Bath, guests may dine in the elegant Pump Room or the Terrace and Reception Hall. The Pump Room is an exceptional space ideally suited to banquets and conference dinners.
With its spectacular view over the Great Bath, the Terrace is a more intimate alternative to the Pump Room. It can accommodate up to 80 guests for formal dining but is frequently used for much smaller numbers. Combining the Terrace with the adjoining Reception Hall allows 70 extra guests to be seated for dinner or alternatively it can provide additional space for dancing and a bar.
For larger events the whole Pump Room complex can be hired.

directions
Bath is an excellent city to visit by rail. The station is called BATH SPA. There are frequent high-speed connections to London Paddington. For a slower service that is likely to be cheaper, try London Waterloo.
Major cities such as Birmingham and Manchester have frequent services via Bristol. The south coast ports of Southampton and Portsmouth have direct services by train.
The Roman Baths is less than ten minutes walk from the station.
National Express operates a regular bus service from London Victoria and also a direct service from Heathrow and Gatwick airports. The dropping-off point is at the bus station next to Bath Spa railway station.
From the M4:
Leave the M4 at Junction 18 and take the A46 towards Bath. For a day visit to Bath, we recommend Lansdown Park and Ride, clearly signposted from the A46/A420 junction at Cold Ashton.
Alternatively, follow the brown traffic signs saying 'Roman Baths' along the A46 and A4 to Bath and then the Roman helmet symbol to Charlotte Street car park
