The room available for hire (evenings only) is on the ground floor of the museum complex with its own separate entrance (no steps, wheelchair access). It has kitchen facilities attached. The room is an art galler cafe during the day. It is a recent conversion (1990). Conference chairs are modern lightweight plastic armchairs. The room has a mezzanine balcony at one end for additional seating.
