Somersal Cottages – Farmhouse

The Farmhouse was built in the 1860’s and retains many of the existing features, such as the fireplaces and cornice in the sitting rooms and the impressive staircase. The house overlooks mature gardens with extensive lawns, a large pond to the front and the tennis court to the side.

The ground floor has two large sitting rooms, each with a television, one with DVD attached. Both rooms retain many original features and have fireplaces for cosy open fires in the colder months.

The large kitchen also provides the dining facilities. It has a large electric range cooker and an additional cooker.

On the ground floor there is also a shower room with shower, toilet and basin and one bedroom with double and single beds. There is also a utility room with a washing machine tumble dryer.
