The Gateway Education and Arts Centre is beautifully situated on the River Severn only 5 minutes walk from Shrewsbury's town centre, It is a stone's throw from the railway station. The purpose-built centre, a gift from a local trust, is 9 years old and was officially opened by Her Royal Highness the Princess Anne in October 1984. Its attractive suite of rooms, finished in brick and English oak, vary in size from a committee room holding 10 to a Conference room seating 130. The first floor has several general purpose rooms, some overlooking the river, holding up to 45 people. The accommodation is suitable for training courses, seminars, interviews, conferences, demonstrations and promotions.
