The Great Hall

The Great Hall, within Devonshire House, is the largest of the University’s facilities, seating up to 1,400 delegates theatre style. Containing movable seating within the auditorium and fixed tiered seating in the balcony, this large space can be adapted for many different uses, from formal theatre style events, through to exhibitions, concerts and gala dinners.

With natural daylight, a fixed stage and excellent acoustics the Great Hall is a popular choice for live music events, large plenary sessions, banquets and exhibitions.

Underneath the Great Hall on the ground floor is the Great Hall foyer, ideal for a delegate registration area or meetings point. Directly opposite the Great Hall on the first floor is the Terrace Restaurant, which offers a range of hot and cold meals and refreshments during the day and can be used as a large dining or bar space at weekends and evenings.
