The Rose and Crown Hotel is a 13th Century Hotel set on the River Avon with views of Salisbury Cathedral. With 3 meeting rooms, the Rivers Edge Restaurant and our Riverside Terrace and Gardens the property offers an attractive venue for meetings, conferences, seminars, exhibitions, weddings, social events of any kind, as well as the traditional Christmas Party functions and New Years celebrations.
Our Rivers Edge Restaurant, with our well stocked bar, is an ideal space for weddings and celebrations. Open 7 days a week, our menu's offer a varied selection of dishes and we can cater for all dietary requirements.
All of our meeting rooms have natural daylight. The Cathedral Suite is situated against our gardens and the River Avon. This suite can hold 80 delegates theatre style or for a reception, 40 delegates boardroom style, 36 delegates U-shape and 50 for a lunch/dinner.
The Orangery, with outstanding views of the River Avon and Salisbury Cathedral can comfortably hold 30 delegates theatre style, 30 for a lunch/dinner, 20 delegates boardroom style, 20 U-shape, and 35 for a reception.
Both the Orangery and Cathedral Suite can be opened up to give a much more spacious area with the capacity to hold up to 100 guests for a reception, 70 for a banquet, 60 for cabaret, 70 for dinner dance, 60 boardroom and 100 theatre style.
Our Oak Room offers a more private space suitable for interviews and small meetings. The capacity for this space is up to 12 delegates boardroom style. So is your after a smaller meeting room this would be perfect for you.
