The Spitfire Ground set in the heart of Canterbury is Kent's leading conference and events venue. It has been the home to Kent County Cricket Club since 1842 and witnessed some of the sports greatest playing in its tranquil and unique surroundings. In 1847 The Spitfire Ground made history and became home to one of England's best known cricket clubs - Kent County Cricket Club. The Spitfire Ground has a capacity of 15,000 and since it's foundation in 1847, four One Day International matches have been played there increasing its profile as a cricket venue.
