overview
Tí Chulainn Cultural Activity Centre, set in the rolling hills of South Armagh provides an ideal setting for conferences and training weekend residentials. Many of our clients have expressed their satisfaction with the facilities and emphasized the increase in volume of work produced because of the lack of distractions in the immediate environment.
A warm South Armagh welcome awaits you at Tí Chulainn Cultural Activity and Residential centre, An Mullach Bán, in the picturesque ring of Gullion (AONB).
The Tí Chulainn Centre is run by a 'not for profit' company to benefit the local area and visitors to the region.
'Tí Chulainn' is the Irish Language translation of 'The House of Culann'. Legend tells us that Culann was a Smith and Armourer that lived on Slieve Gullion, and regularly hosted the King of Ulster. He is most famous for his fierce watchdog whom the boy Sétanta killed, one of the consequences being that he would now be called Cú Chulainn 'The Hound of Culann'.
