overview
Opened nearly six years ago by HRH the Duke of Kent after a £10 million restoration and refurbishment scheme, Wivenhoe House has brought a new dimension to conference and events in North Essex.
The historic Grade II listed main building, built in 1758, is now supplemented by a contemporary garden wing offering a large conference suite with flexible walls to allow for larger or smaller events and a private garden courtyard for delegates’ use.
Elegant rooms in the main house can be used for private dinners, drinks receptions or board meetings all managed by our dedicated professional events team supported by our talented undergraduates from the Edge Hotel School working towards their BA in Hotel Management.
Every conference and event is tailor made by our team to suit your individual needs. Our flexibility extends to hospitality with a comprehensive, range of menus whether you are networking within a small group or sharing business ideas with your work force.
