NEW KID ON THE BLOCK

WHO – Novotel London City South Hotel, London SE1

WHAT – Four great small meeting rooms from 10-100 delegates

WHY – Amazing service, thought through meeting space, nice touches

The Novotel London City South is the first property in the UK to role out the New Meetings at Novotel concept. Space has been cleverly designed with flexibility and delegate wellbeing very much in mind to not only meet modern day meeting expectations but also to create an inspirational working environmentThe main meeting rooms have been designed with a clever mix of natural wood and steel.  Warming green and yellow colours emphasise the abundance of natural light which flood each room, supported by the latest in LED downlighters to create a genuinely uplifting experience.  Innovative catering points including a SMEG fridge, whilst at a touch of a button on the single control panel the lighting, sound and temperature can all be controlledDelegates can recharge those batteries in the informal communal area which thanks to the green nod to nature provides a vibrant focal point for opportunities to relax or socialise whilst marvelling at the old model cars, posters and retro telephones from the 1970sA wide selection of drinks is always available with a food focus on local food heroes from nearby Borough Market offering an excellent flexitarian menu choice.  The “Service from the Heart” campaign is very much in evidence amongst all staff with a tailored, personalised and flexible approach to clients. Big shout out to Lili and Guillaume in Food and Beverage and meetings coordinator Macarena who genuinely believe that #serviceisthesecret

JUST THAT LITTLE BIT DIFFERENT…

WHO – Evolution Dome

WHAT – Temporary Inflatable Conference & Event Structures for 2-800 delegates

WHY – Because of the ‘Wow’ Factor and the great event solutions they offer

Can’t find the right venue?  Either too large or too small?  Perhaps the space simply doesn’t fit the purpose of your event. Well Evolution Dome’s range of inflatable structures may just provide the solution with even the ability to create a venue totally from scratch! Strong and tough, the domes can be installed on grass or hard standing, or alternatively at exhibition centres and event venues. Complete flexibility provides the event organiser with several options to design a unique environment which really does create the Wow Factor for a conference or event.  Unique and visually striking the Dome’s come in a variety of sizes from small pods to facilitate 1-2-1 meeting all the way up to 800 capacity theatre style.  Modern and contemporary in appearance, the Domes are enhanced using LED light systems to offer a full-colour wash and with high ceiling heights create an airy and comfortable environment. Larger structures provide ample space for projection screens and AV equipment and with no supporting trusses or poles mean that delegates always have a clear view of the speaker or stage.  Plus, the air walls absorb sound and noise allowing several structures to be placed closely together, without the worry of noise over spilling into the session next door.  Evolution Dome’s – a great idea, guaranteed to leave a memorable impression.
