H.G. Wells is a purpose built Conference and Events Centre. Catering for 2 to 800 delegates it offers contemporary, stylish conference and meeting facilities in a selection of rooms. H.G. Wells Centre consists of six air-conditioned rooms with the latest lighting and state-of-the-art acoustics, audio-visual, & telephone as standard, making them ideal for both formal and informal business events. The largest room, The Wells Room can provide raked and theatre style seating for 600 or banqueting for up to 350. This room's teak floors can be raised mechanically. A lift has been built to accommodate cars which can then be driven into the Auditorium. The suite comprises of two floors above street level.

There is a full business support service, fast track parking for delegates, sound and light engineers and sophisticated back projection, lighting and stage technology are all available if required. Day delegate packages can be tailored to suit individual needs.
