Located right in the city centre, overlooking Piccadilly Gardens and only a short walk from Manchester Piccadilly Station, The Portland is one of Manchester’s premier hotels for business and leisure guests. The Metrolink can be found directly out the front of the hotel which gives easy access to any part of Manchester within a couple of minutes.
We have 204 bedrooms, including 12 suites. We also have nine meeting rooms, the largest of which seats 250 people theatre-style; elegant and spacious, it’s one of Manchester’s most popular city-centre wedding venues. Our Largest Suite, the Lakeland hosts its own private foyer area with private bar, great for dinners and large conferences wanting exhibition space. All our Boardrooms come with natural daylight, some even looking out over Piccadilly Gardens.All our meeting rooms are equipped with in-built AV equipment from Flat Screen Plasma, Projectors and we even have a built in PA system & hand held microphones within the Lakeland Suite
