The ground floor, kitchen and toilet area is fully accessible to disabled users, however, the upper floors are accessible only by two sets of stairs. The premises do not currently, have the benefit of a lift. The premises are heated throughout with the ground floor accommodation benefiting from the newly installed, under-floor heating system. The upper floor accommodation is heated by a series of electric wall heaters.

The main Sanctuary seats approximately 600 people and in addition to its principal functions of Sunday worship, weddings, baptisms and funerals is available for larger gatherings such as concerts and has played host in the past to a number of choirs and musical ensembles.

The National Youth Choir of Scotland (NYCoS) are regular visitors for their annual training weekend which terminates in a short, informal concert given by the young people of the choir.
The church is equipped with its own sound/recording system, the church organ and a piano.
