The Deco is a magnificently restored 1930's cinema located in the heart of Northampton offering a fabulous, affordable venue for corporate, social and theatrical events. Supervised by English Heritage, the multi-million pound restoration has combined the original, stunning art deco styling with state-of-the-art technology. The 900 seat Auditorium in conjunction with The Doré and The Glen suites make this unique facility both flexible and practical.
All the facilities you would expect from a 21st century conference centre. This versatile venue has over 7,250 sq ft of usable space in The Auditorium with an additional 2 conference suites, The Glen and The Doré, offering a further 3,900 sq ft. The auditorium can accommodate 900 seated, theatre style, with the suites having a capacity of 200 each conference style.

Exit Junction 15 on M1 North or South heading into Northampton town (A508)
The A508 becomes the A45 (the Nene Valley Highway). Stay on the A45 and exit onto the Bedford Road (A428) Signposted Abington and 1st exit off roundabout into Northampton.
Stay on A428 - go through one set of traffic lights and at the next set of major traffic lights, turn right into Cheyne Walk.
Go through the next set of traffice lights into York Road. At the end of York Road go up the hill called Lower Mounts, (BBC Northampton building on your left), stay in right hand lane and at the next set of traffic lights, make a sharp turning right sign posted to St. Michael's Car Park.
Once parked in St. Michael's Car Park, come out from the car park by the Abington Square exit and turn right. Pass the Bantum Pub and immediately after the pub on the right is the entrance to The Deco with wrought iron gates.
