The Old Council House is an elegant, neo-Classical Grade II listed building which has many wonderful interesting features, including a grand sweeping staircase and outstanding decoration throughout with many original features.
It was built 1824 to 1827 by Sir Robert Smirke and is situated at the cross roads of Corn Street and Broad Street. This is right in the heart of Bristol and so has the convenience of being located near the main road and rail links.
