  We LOVE the Poppy Factory. Such a charming, hidden gem of a venue. It's small, but beautifully curated - you can really feel the love. Our offices are based in Richmond but we lack our own suitable space for training sessions and team offsites. Thanks to MeetingsClub we were introduced to the lovely team at the Poppy Factory, not far from our own offices, who are able to provide us with exactly what we need.
  We regularly use their Boardroom for Senior Leadership offsite planning days, and for team training - up to about 15 people works well in that space. Having the breakout area in the Poppy Factory's visitor centre is a lovely addition, being able to see the rich history and the impact that the charity has made to its beneficiaries over the years is really special. The catering is delightful - Cristina's incredible baking skills are always a highlight and lunches are delicious. Tea & Coffee provided is always fresh and the team top it up regularly. Lovely to meet the team too (we have enjoyed introductions from various colleagues there) which makes the connection between our two organisations all the more meaningful.

  Do you have any good advice/tips for other bookers/organiser?
  

  I would highly recommend The Poppy Factory for small team meetings, awaydays and training for small groups. Also for networking events (which work well in the visitor centre space). Delightful setting, hidden gem, off the beaten track and something a little different. Plus, you're supporting a mission-driven, people-centred charity through using their facilities and that goes back into the community and makes a real difference.
