The Rheged Centre – Penrith

Located just off the M6(J40) at Penrith, midway between Glasgow, Manchester, Leeds and Newcastle
and a 5 minute taxi ride from the main line railway (Penrith), Rheged is home to a 260 seat auditorium, featuring a 40 foot cinema screen. There is a fast and stable WIFI connection across the whole centre, and we have the ability to live stream direct from national conferences.

There is an intimate 200 seat lecture theatre, 2 Exhibition Halls, 4 further conference rooms catering from small meetings to cabaret style for 250.

Seasonal menus are designed by our in house TV chef Peter Sidwell and use interesting local ingredients including lamb and beef our farm and freshly baked cakes from our bakery.

Events can be tailored to include arrival drinks in our Art gallery or team building in our pottery painting Workshop or Cookery school.

Rheged is also one of the greenest venues around through its local sourcing policy.
