We are a family-run business with over 30 years of experience, so you don’t have to worry about credibility when choosing us.

Our hotel is situated on the historic RAF airfield, which is still used for light aircraft and military use. So you can be assured of some spectacular views to go along with our great variety of food. Malcolm Pearson, our owner, is also the head chef. He bought the business in 2008, after working as a chef here for over 30 years.

Apart from Cumbria, you can also reach us easily from anywhere across the north west and north east of England as well as the south of Scotland.
