Set at the head of Dorking’s famed High Street, amidst the rolling Hills of the North Downs and Surrey’s world-famous Denbies Vineyard and Estate, The White Horse reopens this month, restored to its former Dickensian glory as one of England’s most storied coaching inns.
Having undergone a substantial £4 million refurbishment since shutting its doors in July 2017, improvements have been made across all 56 bedrooms, throughout the public spaces, as well as to the restaurant and bar, which has seen a profound transformation to both its menu and décor, with the aim of introducing a stylish and affordable destination hotel to Dorking for the first time.
The White Horse’s 56 bedrooms have seen timeless details added throughout, alongside duck down and feather duvets, as well as non-allergenic pillows. A selection of cosy, comfy and spacious rooms are available, with the indulgent and decadent suites featuring ornate details and views across the bustling high street and Greensand Ridge.
