overview
Eating at Brigade is about much more than great food and excellent service. Brigade is a social enterprise restaurant. We passionately believe in the power of food as a catalyst to break the cycle of homelessness and we reinvest all our profits to deliver social value.
As well as a busy bar and bistro, meeting space, cook school and private dining rooms, Brigade houses a training kitchen which provides apprenticeships that help the homeless develop skills and motivation to find employment in hospitality. So whilst you’re enjoying delicious, locally sourced, British inspired food in a relaxed setting, you’re also helping us fund our programmes that literally change people’s lives. We opened in September 2011 and since then we have helped over 1,000 people through our training programmes.

Our third visit to the Brigade. Again exceptional service and food, around a very stressful subject in the conference but the smoothness of the day helped us to provide delegates with the best service from our charity.
Booking our event was straight forward and Jenny was our link through out. This personal service makes life easier. The Restaurant Maitre d' was amazing and important to be on good terms through out.

The Brigade was booked for the second time, the booking process is simple with emails confirming each stage. The attendees to the conference included some vulnerable ladies that were both nervous and fragile and they were welcomed by a warm greeting from the staff.
The meeting room was spacious clean and equipped with ample tea and coffee.
The room is on the first floor and over looking a London street but very quiet.
Lunch was preorded and served on time.
Quality of food was great and plenty of it. Everyone commented complimentary.
We felt no time pressures at any time through the day and our two guest speakers were looked after from their arrival by the venues staff.
Simply call to speak to someone who organises room hire and you will be looked after.

Matchmothers was celebrating our 40th Anniversary with a meeting followed by a lunch then a cream tea
From the start I spoke with Simon who explained honestly what he could do for our celebration. It fitted our expectations and on the day in June everything went well, food, venue, staff and atmosphere enabled us to have a very successful day event
