Hope Street Hotel, Liverpool's first boutique hotel is centrally located in the heart of the city centre, close to Liverpool Lime Street mainline station and within easy reach of Liverpool's John Lennon Airport. The hotel offers 149 modern, contemporary bedrooms and suites.

We have nine event spaces, including our fifth-floor rooms with huge terraces and spectacular city views, and Liverpool’s only hotel cinema! All event spaces are available for meetings and events. Our rooms are flexible in their format and with each event tailored to your taste and requirements, it is our creative involvement and attention to detail that is our real advantage.

Hope Street Hotel sits handsomely in the heart of Liverpool’s Georgian neighbourhood. We have awesome, artistic and clever neighbours - Liverpool Philharmonic Hall, Everyman Theatre and a plethora of university departments, independent restaurants and infamous public houses. Two magnificent cathedrals bookend Hope Street and all are within a short stroll from the hotel’s front door.

Hope Street Hotel's look is city chic with original features of pink Cheshire brick, iron pillars and pitch pine beams. The cherry and walnut bespoke furniture and solid oak and birch floors complement our favourite colour - white: crisp white, chalky white and plump snowy white are the essence of the best city hotel in Liverpool.

We are an independent hotel in Liverpool and pride ourselves on excellent service, turning on sixpences and smiling a lot - all super professionally.

Our beautiful spa was added in 2021 and includes our indoor swimming pool, outdoor courtyard vitality pool, Himalayan salt sauna, herbal sauna, aroma steam room, tepidarium and relaxation areas. Hotel guests can access the spa at a discounted rate.

The meeting room space was very modern and had many windows letting in the daylight. The venue is modern and spacious and is professional in appearance which is perfect for training, meetings and conferences. The trainer for the day was very impressed with her accommodation. A couple of us had a meal in the bar area and was delicious. We had a showaround of the new extension and all were very impressed by the modern concept with access to outdoor space. I am looking to host another event there in 2020.

Do you have any good advice/tips for other bookers/organiser?

I would always recommend visiting the venue yourself prior to making any booking to determine suitability for your delegates.

Lauren met with me upon check in at the hotel and was incredibly personable and obviously proud of working for such a unique venue. At the end of our training event Charlotte Winby arranged a private showround, snacks and fizz which was so appreciated by us all! I stayed for 3 nights in the most gorgeous room (107) and overall was impressed with the level of service and attention to detail from all the team.

Do you have any good advice/tips for other bookers/organiser?

Let any arriving delegates to your training know that if they walk from Liverpool Lime Street station it is an uphill walk. Whilst it's only 15 minutes when it's during a heatwave and you have luggage it may be more comfortable to get a taxi! (talking from first hand experience!!)
