Built in 1779 on Rowton Moor, the site of the battle of Rowton in 1645, Rowton Hall is a Georgian Manor House set in 8 acres of gardens and pasture. Delightfully situated in the rural outskirts of Chester the Hall is renowned for the warm, informal country house welcome it extend to guests. Log fires, fresh home grown produce and a relaxed atmosphere make the ideal setting for both business and pleasure. Hotel guests have full use of all the leisure facilities. All bedrooms have radio, colour TV, morning call system, direct dial telephone, hairdryer, and tea/coffee making facilities. The Langdale Restaurant serves English and French cuisine. A pre-lunch or dinner drink can be enjoyed in the Cavalier Bar which also serves bar snacks ; light snacks are also available from Hamiltons. Conference rooms consist of 5 large rooms. By Road: From the M56 take junction 15 on to the M53. Exit the M53 at junction 12 and take the thrid exit, A56 to Chester. At the next roundabout turn left on to the A41 to Whitchurch. Follow straight through the second roundabout and turn left continuing on the A41. Follow the road approximately 1 mile, the sign for Rowton Hall will be on your left and the hotel is situated at the end of the next lane on the right
