Everyone thought the weekend went well, nice and quiet . The room we were in had plenty of space and light. Tables were laid out in a good format and we had the chairs that we asked for - the mesh backed chairs are much more comfortable for us since we don't move around that much whilst lacemaking.
It was great to be able to order off the full menu rather than the abbreviated menu and everyone was happy to pay the supplements.
Everyone enjoyed the buffet lunches - lots of choice and it was nice to see everything labelled for our allergy sufferers. She said it felt much more inclusive that way as she didn't have to ask what she could/couldn't eat.
Standouts
The Restaurant Manager, as always, she is so efficient and everything went like clockwork.
The chef - very friendly and helpful and no problem to cook anything special to order.
The downside:
The restaurant, corridors and common areas were cold - one of our ladies went shopping for a cardigan.
We had to request cold water for the drinks station on Sunday - the receptionist was unaware that there was an event on.
Check if other large events are happening at the same time you are intending to book.

Firstly my thanks to Eleasha Baddeley for the constant updates and providing rapid response to any requests and changes prior to the Company workshop, very professional but personal feel. On the day, Callum (sorry did not get his surname) was our star man, and nothing was too much for him. He introduced himself to me on arrival and was there throughout the session. The catering was spot on and thoroughly enjoyed by all participants (we opted for working lunch, which was provided in the syndicate room across the hallway from our meeting room) Wish I had asked for boxes to take some of the leftovers, it was that good. So all in all from the conception to leaving a very professional set up.
No request or question is a silly one. If they can accommodate it, they will - and with a smile

Before the event Eleasha Baddeley was great at helping me pull everything together at short notice. Very accommodating and lovely to deal with.
I think it was Callum that looked after us on the day. He was extremely lovely and looked after us perfectly.
The whole thing from start to finish was a breeze and it made my job so much easier and stress free.
I book events every month and this one was bar far the best in terms of overall service and facilities.

There was only one vegetarian option of Sandwich at lunch, would have been good to have a couple of options.
The Air con in the room was broken, a portable unit was provided, however it was too noisy to have on whilst we were listening to presentations. Snacks and drinks selection at the coffee station was good and kept well stocked.
Thanks so much for your feedback Nina, we are aware of an issue with the air con and are working to get a more permanent solution sorted. The refreshment station really are a bonus and we hope they mean customers can break when it happens naturally rather than keeping to a strict schedule.

Eleasha and Lorna were fantastic in their support. All the staff we engaged with during our time at the hotel were excellent.
We could only have water with our lunch in the restaurant. It would have been nice to have some soft drinks and a coffee afterwards too.

Eleasha Baddeley always goes above and beyond whenever I book a meeting room and bedrooms for the business. She is quick to respond, always polite, and happy to help with any queries I have had.
There is also a gentleman who always goes the extra mile to make sure we have plenty of refreshments, ensure our IT equipment is working properly, and keeps the comfort of guests as his main priority.

Great pre-event service and generally excellent facilities. Conference rooms and communal spaces are a strong highlight. Free tea and coffee in the atrium areas allowed our conference guests to mingle and take care of themselves which was great.
We did not clarify our table layout for our evening meal and this caused some confusion, so please be specific about your requirements if you are booking to allow the space to accommodate.

Adam, Callum in Events, Lauren and her colleague on the bar really looked after us. Grace was excellent with all the pre arrival information. All staff we came across were excellent. The ground floor cleaner was very helpful as well. Coming over and getting someone when a delegate was waiting at the restaurant entrance - this had made an impact as she specifically mentioned it to me how every member of staff cares for the customer
Utilise the space here - breakout space outside conference rooms on first floor, bar, pool table and great location. Rooms bright and airy.
We booked last year and very rarely return to same place for annual conference but were so happy with last years events it was a given we would return and have booked other meeting since

Eleasha could not have been more helpful from the first enquiry to the last minute changes on the day always on hand, helpful, organised, polite and professional.
Adam and the team on the night (and I include the chefs and the night team who came to help clear up) friendly, approachable, ALWAYS somebody on hand to help. All instructions/requests were carried out as promised and nothing was to much trouble. Made the night that little bit more special and everybody commented on the heat of the food, the taste and presentation, the friendliness of the staff and speed of service.
Reception were well organised and friendly in all interactions with them as well.

All the staff were great. We could not fault them.
IT was the one letdown for us. Both days the internet went down...possibly because so many people were using it? We were told it was a power outage. As we were trying to present internet-based software, this was a real issue for us! You may need a separate line for the conference rooms. Or have a hard-wired cable available for the rooms.

Grace was quick to respond to emails and made a note of all requests.
There weren't enough power sockets close to (or on) the table for people to charge their laptops/tablets. Also, having the meeting room door lock (and only being given one key) was awkward for people to go out and come back in without disrupting the meeting.

We usually have power banks on all tables so apologies they were not out on this occasion, we will ensure next time they are double checked. Reception can cut additional keys on request, we normally only issue one due to security so you just need to authorise it with them on arrival in future. Hope to see you again soon!

The chefs did an amazing job with all the food for our evening dinner and lunch remembered dietary requirements requests. The ladies on reception were very friendly, helpful and the conferencing team was really professional and easy to work with. The housekeeping team did a brilliant job no complaints about rooms.

The team were all friendly and extremely helpful, I would particularly call out Adam, he was great. Right from check-in it was a really pleasant experience. The bedrooms were excellent, very comfortable, and well-equipped. The meeting rooms worked well, and the refreshment areas and breakout spaces around the venue were lovely and really helped to break up the day and create a nice atmosphere.
The quality of the venue makes it highly sought after - so book early to avoid missing out.

Everything, right from the greeting when I arrived was great. The room was easily accessible and well set up. The only small issue was that the bin was full however, when we mentioned it to the staff it was instantly rectified. Sorry I cant remember her name but the young lady that took our timing requirements for breaks and lunch was friendly and informative. All the food and refreshments were great and appreciated by all of us. All in all, a great day. Thank you.

Lorna and her team were very helpful during initial discussions, assisting me set the European Conference up and making sure that everything was clear cut from the outset.
Emily and other staff were super attentive during the event, ensuring that things went smoothly for everyone.
I must congratulate the whole Wychwood Park Hotel Meetings Team for being particularly helpful and understanding as we all struggled with uncertainties and travel restrictions due to the increasing effects of COVID-19 in Europe. The Wychwood Park Hotel IT systems more than coped with our unexpected need to Skype several participants.
Clarify expectations with the Meetings Team early and take advantage of their professional experience. Communicate clearly and promptly and ask the Meetings Team's advice if you have queries or extra requirements. Get dietary requirements from your delegates early - this helps the venue to accommodate your group's special needs.
The Meetings Team want you to have a great experience and return to the venue ... so they support your event as if it were their own!

The receptionists were great, on arrival they moved us around to have early check in, the team also allowed us to leave good luck cards in there rooms before arrival which was a nice touch. It would of been nice for someone to come over and introduce themselves so we could have one point of contact however that never happened and we had to keep asking different people. I think Terry desalts with us in the end but we didn't need much so didn't see much of him. The meeting rooms were great, clean tidy and presentable, one meeting room had nice conduit and screen one looked very neglected no conduit and TV was a little older.
The beverages bar was great however upstairs ran out quickly of soft drinks and was not topped up.
The lunch again was good, food was really nice and great service with the trolley upstairs.
Graduation ceremony the team supplied glasses and ice on time which was nice, the dinner was great and the service was also very good.
Will on the bar upstairs was friendly and approachable.
Hotel rooms were amazing.
Breakfast was okay, seemed to hit the last of it at 9am and when we all went up at once there wasn't anything left for some team without having to wait.
The goodbye, again would of been nice to shake a hand or say goodbye but seemed to miss that one point of contact again.
