overview

Comprising eight museums and art galleries in and around Liverpool, National Museums Liverpool offer a wide range of events and spaces against a unique backdrop of historic artefacts and world-class art. Each event that takes place within one of its venues is expertly curated by an in-house team, Hosted by National Museums Liverpool.

The Walker Art Gallery is the national gallery of the North of England. It houses works by the likes of Rossetti, Yeames and Hockney, with one of the best collections of Pre-Raphaelite art in the world. Set in Liverpool's historic St George's quarter, the building’s impressive entrance features two ornate marble sculptures of Raphael and Michelangelo, created by John Warrington Wood in the 1870s.

Striking features of the interior include two grand staircases and rotunda located in the atrium, the perfect setting for a refined drinks reception. The multi-functional traditional and modern galleries which span the upper floor of the building also offer a variety of spaces to entertain guests.

World-class catering is provided by Hosted by National Museums Liverpool's team of in-house chefs, who have the ability, skill and innovation to produce food completely unique to your event.
