With just 41 bedrooms and suites, 42 The Calls is a unique and exceptional establishment. Handmade beds with luxury Cotton linen, carefully selected paintings and drawings, and friendly touches such as homemade cookies and fudge make these spaces havens of relaxation combined with up to the minute technology, including interactive plasma television, Wi-Fi and high speed broadband access. One of Yorkshire's popular restaurants shares the same premises as the hotel. Brasserie Forty 4, an informal, buzzing venue popular with Leeds' fashionable set, retains two AA rosettes.
Everywhere are signs of the buildings previous life as a corn mill, some walls are hung with photographs of the mill during its conversion; many rooms feature large mill windows with wooden shutters; others have remnants of the mills pulleys, wheels and girders in the ceilings and walls; and some have seating areas which overhang the waters edge.

Follow the signs for Leeds (Centre) M621, then City Centre (Holbeck). Take junction 3 of the M621 follow signs to city centre passing Reg Vardy & Peugeot Garage on your left, follow the signs for The West Yorkshire Playhouse. Turn right at the lights then you will pass Asda Head Office on your left, pass through the lights and Tetley's Brewery is on your left. At the next set of lights turn left and go over the bridge.
Turn left onto the City Centre Loop, following the City Loop Waterfront sign. Pass the Parish Church on your left, (in front of the Hoover Shop), then turn left at junction 15 on the loop, just before the round silver ball on your left. 42 The Calls is immediately in front of you with a Black Flag flying outside.
