This stylish and modern hotel is located in the centre of the spa town of Harrogate, within walking distance of the many shops, restaurants, bars and business’s in the town centre. The hotel offers stunning views over the spa town and the Yorkshire dales. The hotel is a short walk from the train station and located next door to the Harrogate Convention Centre , which has a direct internal walkway to the hotel which is located on the 1st floor near to your meeting rooms. For those who drive we have a underground car park catering for up to 180 cars. Wi fi is free of charge and available to all including residents , visitors and meeting delegates. The hotel has 6 flexible meeting rooms, our largest room can cater for up to 320 theatre style and 160 cabaret style. Our largest room The Harewood is located on the ground floor, all other meeting rooms can be found on the 1st floor near to the Springs Restaurant. In addition we have a dedicated events manager who will work with you from the planning stage to the day itself to ensure a smooth and success meeting/event

      Reservation Team - Danielle Gerdes & Lorraine Stephenson booked our 50 bedrooms and the made all the arrangements for our Past President's dinner. It is so nice to deal directly with the hotel much more personal than a central booking service for a hotel group.

      The desk was quickly responsive; there was always a 'yes we can' if there was a need; head of events personally attended to us at times

      Do you have any good advice/tips for other bookers/organiser?

      Take the lead from events in using space well and organising the event. It's a team that helps you so trust the team. Create a very clear spreadsheet of attendees for delegates who are residential.

      Ellie was excellent coordinating prior to the event and ensuring all was prepared in advance. The team on the evening got the food out promptly when it was ready, were really friendly and approachable and worked hard to ensure we had a lovely evening. Many compliments on the food too, especially the salads, individual toad in the holes and the profiteroles.

      Mix and match the menus to suit you!

      Staff were fantastic - both Anna and Danielle were great to work with, very good communication prior to the event and quick to action any last minute changes whilst on site. Hotel very clean and bedrooms are high standard.

      Anna ensured all our requirements were catered to - very friendly and helpful - great to work with, could not do more for you!
      Danielle/Helen managed accommodation whilst onsite - Quick to action amends, friendly and lovely to work with.
      If you are looking to hold group bookings for events at the Crowne Plaza itself or the HCC, I could not recommend the Crowne Plaza enough - Very close and convenient with very professional and helpful staff.
