Chiswick mainline station is ten minutes walk from the pavilion gate which is the principal access to the Sports Ground. Trains run every twenty minutes or so in both directions on that line. Across the river the Mortlake station, which is twenty minutes walk from the pavilion, has more frequent trains in both directions. There is a bus service which stops close to the Chiswick station, this is served by the 272 & 190 routes.
