Dunnington Sports Club has been established for over 60 years and has been at the core of the local community as a place to play sport and socialise. Over a number of years it has evolved into a Social Enterprise providing a host of high quality sports, spacious meeting and function rooms as well as a thriving bar & catering facility.
The Playing Fields Association (PFA) is the governing body and the single shareholder of Dunnington Sports Club LTD – a not for profit organisation, the PFA being a registered Charity.
Whilst each sporting section is individual in its own right they do report regularly up to the PFA.
2010 has brought some significant changes in the Sports Club constitution that will see the Sports Club move further into the Community and also look to reach out further through partnerships with City of York Council, local schools and the business community. The aim is to be a thriving, vibrant and exciting venue that meets the growing demands of sport.
