Fairfax House is an outstanding 18th Century Georgian House situated in the heart of York which can be hired out for receptions, launches small events and intimate dining. The House is available for hire evenings (including weekends) and Sunday mornings and visitors will be offered the use of the whole house. Guided tours by a Georgian expert can also be provided. Visitors can dine in the splendour of the sumptuous Saloon where royalty and world dignitaries have taken their seats at the table. They will experience the authentic period table settings and local musicians can provide period music if requested.
