Brewer Street is awash with dining opportunities; the acclaimed Hix, for example, is right opposite MASH. From the modest reception, a greeter leads you down two floors of wide, red-carpeted, spiral stairs to the 300-cover restaurant plus bar. The space was formerly Marco Pierre White’s famed Titanic, and £10 million has restored the huge room to its art deco splendour. The colour scheme is masculine red and dark wood, and a US diner feel is created by partitioning booths with etched glass screens.
