overview
The Tallow Chandlers Hall provides a privileged opportunity for private functions in a beautiful 17th century building retraining all the charm of its original design and interior decoration. It is the home to the Worshipful Company of Tallow Chandlers who are concerned mainly with the manufacture and sale of candles made from animal fat as distinct from bees-wax. The Company has had a hall on the same site on Dowgate Hill since 1476. The old Hall was destroyed in the Great Fire of London and then rebuilt by 1670.
Your guests will be charmed as they enter the Hall, by the atmosphere and the traditions of an ancient heritage.
