The King's Head, Masham, is a fine Georgian building dating back to the 18th Century, situated in the Market Square of the picturesque town of Masham. From the outset The King's Head was always more than an Inn. In its time it has been combined with a Posting House and surprisingly, an Excise Office. Masham itself, established in Saxon times, lies peacefully on the River Ure.
