overview
The Living and Learning Zone is a purpose built conference and activity centre run by the Wilberforce Trust. Catering for groups of 4 – 35 people we have a choice of 6 light, airy and adaptable rooms on offer. Our courteous staff are on hand to help throughout the day.
Each of the rooms has free WI fi and access to a flip chart, projector and screen and laptop. The conference suite (containing the conference room, skills room and IT room) has level access and is fully accessible.
The venue is close to the A1237 ring road and the city centre and has two regular bus services stopping outside (5 and 13) and nearby (20), one of which travels to York railway station.
Free tea and coffee and biscuits are provided throughout the day for delegates. Lunch can be arrange for an additional charge per delegate. For meetings where lunch is not provided there are a range of local catering venues one minutes’ walk from the venue. Microwaves are available for delegate use.
