It was the former home of Anthony Armstrong-Jones as a boy, who later went on to become The Rt Hon, The Earl of Snowden on his marriage to Princess Margaret.
Womersley Park was acquired by its current owners in 2004 as a private and family home. Both the house and grounds have undergone a period of sympathetic restoration in order to bring the estate back to its former glory, preserving it for future generations to enjoy. The Hall stands of the southern edge of the village facing southwards across its parkland grounds.
